A smart hotel replaces traditional front desk staff with information and communication technology, allowing guests to manage their stay and adjust room settings independently.
At MERBABU STAY OSAKA, all operations are as easy as using a smartphone.

There's no physical key exchange.
The entrance features an auto-lock system accessible by a guest-only PIN code.
Room access is granted by entering a PIN generated at check-in, which remains valid until checkout.

Luggage lockers are available in the lobby for free use throughout the day, accessible with a transportation IC card.
There are 9 units available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservations accepted.
When in a group, please share the lockers considerately.

We do not accommodate luggage in advance; it cannot be sent to or dispatched from the front desk.

For safety and hygiene reasons, we do not provide cooking utensils, tableware, or rentals.
However, microwave ovens and induction heaters are available.

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the building, including room balconies.

Our guest rooms do not support DVD or Blu-ray playback.

We ensure a contactless experience from check-in to checkout.
Rooms and shared spaces are thoroughly disinfected to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

Our bathing areas are spacious enough to accommodate families and children comfortably.

Guests under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Those under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Consent forms should be faxed to 0721-54-1360 or emailed to info@merbabustay.com in advance.
Failure to provide a consent form may result in refusal of stay.
If consent isn't confirmed at check-in, it must be submitted subsequently.

We do not offer parking facilities or partnerships.
Guests arriving by car are advised to use nearby coin-operated parking.

For guests staying consecutively, room cleaning will be provided as a general rule.
During the cleaning, towels will be exchanged and amenities replenished.
If you do not wish to have your room cleaned, please hang the "do not disturb" sign on the doorknob outside your room.
Towels and amenities will be provided separately in a paper bag in front of your room.

Unfortunately, we do not provide laundry detergent or fabric softener. Guests are kindly requested to bring their own.
When drying laundry, you may use the bathroom drying function. Hanging laundry on the balcony is also possible.
As for hangers, we provide enough for 4 people in each room (both regular and pants hangers), and enough for 6 people in the suite rooms.

Guests can self check-in using the terminal in the lobby, where you'll be prompted to enter your name, address, and other necessary details.
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, while check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Please ensure you complete check-in by 10:59 PM on your arrival day.
Early check-ins or check-ins after 11:00 PM are not accommodated.

Payments can be made on-site using cash, credit card, or QR code.
We accept the following credit card brands: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB.

Cancellation fees are applied as follows:
•100% of the room rate for no-shows without notice on the day of arrival
•80% of the room rate for cancellations on the day of arrival
•20% of the room rate for cancellations the day before arrival
•No charge for cancellations made before the day before arrival

To request a receipt, please email us at info@merbabustay.com with your stay date, name, the recipient's name for the receipt, and your mailing address.

For guests staying multiple nights, we ensure you remain in the same room throughout your stay, allowing you to leave your luggage in the room.
However, for consecutive single-night bookings, we cannot guarantee the same room for each night.
You may need to move to a different room and check in again for each booking.
